ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's Jenny Bae was named an All-American by Golfweek on Thursday. A junior from Suwanee, Ga., Bae was included as an honorable mention selection by the publication.

Bae led the Bulldogs in virtually every statistical category during the 2020-21 season, and she produced a perfect 100 percent counting percentage over 33 rounds. She was one of only two golfers to compete in all 11 tournaments and paced Georgia in stroke average (72.94), par-or-better rounds (13), birdies (98), top-10 finishes (three) and top-20 finishes (seven).

Bae was the Bulldogs' top individual finisher at six of 11 tournaments, headlined by her victory at the NCAA Columbus Regional. There she shot 4-under 212 to secure a three-shot win as Georgia captured the team title by a 15-shot margin. Bae also finished 10th at the SEC Championships, where she shot a career-best 54-hole tally of 8-under 208.

Georgia wrapped up the 2020-21 campaign ranked No. 16 by Golfstat and No. 22 by Golfweek. The Bulldogs recorded six top-5 team finishes in 11 tournaments, including their victory at the Columbus Regional. Georgia placed 18th at the NCAA Championships, the program's 27th top-20 finish over the last 43 editions of the national championships.

Bae joins a lengthy list of All-Americans for the Bulldogs. All told, 34 Georgia golfers have now won All-America accolades 60 times.
