Stroud Named NCEA Reining Co-Rider of the Year

ATHENS, Ga.— Graysen Stroud, who is set to graduate from the University of Georgia Friday, has added National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Reining Co-Rider of the Year honors to her decorated collegiate career. 
 
During her senior campaign, the Snohomish, Washington native was also named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Reining Rider of the Year. She collected All-SEC and NCEA All-Championship Team accolades for Reining, in addition to First-Team Ariat All-America honors.
 
Stroud finished her career with an overall Reining record of 40-21-2. For the 2018-19 season, Stroud rode to a 28-8-1 overall record for the season (14-4 Reining, 14-4-1 Horsemanship) and was named SEC Reining Rider of the Month for November. She went 12-1 at Nationals to lead the Bulldogs to a Reserve National Championship, Western National Title, and Horsemanship and Reining Event National Titles. 
 
Additionally, the Bulldog concluded her career after earning four Reining Most Outstanding Performances (MOP) and a team-high six total MOP honors for the season. Stroud notched the most wins among Bulldogs in Reining (14).
